Plaintiff (Demandante)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>The plaintiff is the person who starts a lawsuit in court. Defendant (Demandado)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>The defendant is the person or entity against whom a lawsuit is filed. Contract (Contrato)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>A contract is a legally binding agreement between two or more parties. Liability (Responsabilidad)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Liability refers to the legal obligation of one person to compensate another for damages incurred. Affidavit (Declaraci\u00f3n jurada)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>An affidavit is a written document in which a person swears under oath that the information contained therein is true. Evidence (Evidencia\/Prueba)<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Evidence refers to information presented in a trial to prove facts. This may include testimony, documents, objects and other items.
