How to view a certified translation with digital signature?

If you want to know what a certified translation is, please click hereWhen viewing the translations, legalisations and documents with digital signature we will open the PDF. We must have Adobe PDF downloaded and installed on our computer. The first thing we will see when we open the file is the legalisation of the sworn translation with digital signature made by the Sworn Translators Association (Colegio de Traductores de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires).

To view the translation and the original document, please follow the steps below:

  • First we will click on the arrow to find the panel on the right side (in case it is not displayed).
  • In the left margin, we will find the drawing of a little hook (in third place looking from top to bottom) where it indicates “attached files”. In this tab we will see all the attached files.
  • Click on the first attachment, it will open and scroll to the right.
  • Once the document is opened in the central panel I will click on it and in the «attachments» tab we will continue to find the embedded documents one inside the other.
  • As we said before, the first document is the legalization. Then, we will find the apostille (if any). Then, the translation and finally the original document.

In the same flap on the right margin, we will find the drawing of a pen (in fifth place from top to bottom). This is the section where you can verify the digital signatures and the person who signed them.

If you have any doubts about how to visualise the translation, follow the step-by-step video explanation (only in Spanish):
